The setting
Northumberland - no better place to be
Northumberland is filled with ancient castles, hidden gardens, unspoilt beaches, rolling hills, rugged moorland, sweeping views, friendly little market towns and Europe’s largest area of protected night sky, So if you're looking to do some exploring, or just seeking some solitude, there’s no better place to be.
The hut is sited on our family run farm. Fell Lane Farm is a mixed farm with 550 breeding sheep and a pedigree Aberdeen Angus herd of cattle. Throughout the year, you will be sharing the fields with some of the sheep and lambs. Please make sure you keep the gates firmly closed around the hut or you may find the sheep are closer than they should be! The cattle may be seen grazing in fields nearer to the road. We advise you to stay out of these fields as they can be curious if they see people walking through!

Breathtaking night sky
In Northumberland, we're fortunate to have very low levels of light pollution. This means that we have the most 'pristine dark skies' in England, making it one of the best places in the country to go stargazing.
